Equality Forum - Producer Equality Forum advances national and international gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) civil rights. Equality Forum undertakes high impact initiatives, produces documentary films, highlights GLBT history and presents annually the largest national and international GLBT civil rights forum. In 2003, Equality Forum produced JIM IN BOLD, a documentary about the impact of homophobia on GLBT youth. JIM IN BOLD was an official selection in over 50 film festivals on three continents and was screened at the 2005 annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association. In 2004, Equality Forum with WHYY/PBS co-produced Gay Pioneers, a documentary about the start of the gay and lesbian civil rights movement. Gay Pioneers was named “Best of the Year” by The Advocate.
